Ser Loras Tyrell

Commentary from GEORGE R.R. MARTIN: Ser Loras has brown hair and brown eyes. His shield would display three golden roses on a green field. His cloak is decorated with hundreds of small blue forget-me-nots. A couple different ways to approach his armor: The easiest way would be to do the plate in a dark metallic green, the mail in gold. All the flowers should be gold as well. Ditto the jousting scene inlaid on his breastplate. A more ambitious approach would be to do the chainmail in dark green, the plate in white, and make the decorations a riot of color -- flowers of all sorts and types, and the two knights in the jousting scene both barded in their own colors, even down to the heraldry on their little bitty shields. It would take a helluva painter to bring that off, however.
Metalic pewter miniature, unpainted, 28 mm.
